Länderanalysen

Im Rahmen der Forschungstätigkeit werden regelmässig Länderanalysen zu politischen, wirtschaftlichen und gesellschaftlichen Entwicklungen in Osteuropa herausgegeben. Diese erscheinen in Form der Analytical Digest Series und entstehen in Kooperation mit der Forschungsstelle Osteuropa an der Universität Bremen und der ETH Zürich.
Die Reihen umfassen den Russian Analytical Digest (seit 2006), den Caucasus Analytical Digest (seit 2009), den Ukrainian Analytical Digest (seit 2023) sowie den Belarus Analytical Digest (seit Sommer 2024) und Moldovan Analytical Digest (seit Winter 2024)
Die Ausgaben enthalten fundierte Analysen aktueller Entwicklungen in der Region und kombinieren akademische und praxisorientierte Beiträge mit Datenvisualisierungen, Statistiken und Umfragen.

The Russian Analytical Digest (RAD) analyzes recent events, trends and developments within contemporary Russian politics, economics and business, foreign policy, security and society. Each issue contains original academic and policy relevant research articles by authors from across the globe, and topical statistical data, graphics and opinion polls. The series is produced by a partner network that includes the Center for Security Studies (CSS) at ETH Zürich, the Centre for East European Studies (FSO) at the University of Bremen, the Institute for European, Russian and Eurasian Studies (IERES) at the George Washington University and the Center for Eastern European Studies (CEES) at the University of Zurich. The RAD is edited by Fabian Burkhardt, Vassily Klimentov, Matthias Neumann, Robert Orttung, Jeronim Perović, Heiko Pleines, and Hans-Henning Schröder.

The series is partnered with the German language publication Russland-Analysen, the Russian Regional Report, and the Caucasus Analytical Digest (CAD).

The Ukrainian Analytical Digest (UAD) is a bimonthly internet publication jointly produced by the Research Centre for East European Studies at the University of Bremen (www.forschungsstelle.uni-bremen.de), the Center for Security Studies (CSS) at ETH Zurich (www.css.ethz.ch), the Center for Eastern European Studies (CEES) at the University of Zurich ( www.cees.uzh.ch), and the German Association for East European Studies (DGO) (https://dgo-online.org/international/english/). The Ukrainian Analytical Digest analyzes the political, economic, and social situation in Ukraine within the context of international and security dimensions of this country’s development.

The Caucasus Analytical Digest (CAD) is a quarterly internet publication jointly produced by the Caucasus Research Resource Center (CRRC-Georgia), the Research Centre for East European Studies (FSO) at the University of Bremen, the Center for Security Studies (CSS) at ETH Zürich, the Center for Eastern European Studies (CEES) at the University of Zurich and the German Association for East European Studies (DGO). The Caucasus Analytical Digest analyzes the political, economic, and social situation in the three South Caucasus states of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia within the context of international and security dimensions of this region’s development. The CAD is edited by Lusine Badalyan, Sandra Fernandes, Farid Guliyev, Diana Lezhava, Lili Di Puppo, Jeronim Perović, Abel Polese, Koba Turmanidze.

The CAD corresponding editors are Heiko Pleines and Andreas Heinrich (co-editor), and the layout editor is Matthias Neumann.

The Moldovan Analytical Digest is a quartely internet publication jointly produced by the University of Fribourg/CH, the Research Centre for East European Studies at the University of Bremen, the Center for Security Studies (CSS) at ETH Zurich, and the Center for Eastern European Studies (CEES) at the University of Zurich, with financial support from the Elite Network of Bavaria. The Moldovan Analytical Digest analyzes the political, economic, and social situation in Moldova including the breakaway region of Transnistria within the context of international and security dimensions. All contributions to the Moldovan Analytical Digest undergo a fast-track peer review.

The Belarus Analytical Digest analyzes the political, economic, and social situation in Belarus within the context of international and security dimensions of this country’s development. All contributions to the Belarus Analytical Digest undergo a fast-track peer review.
