Das ISOS organisiert in Kooperation mit der Universität Bern jedes Semester ein Kolloquium für slavistische Linguistik. Sprachwissenschaftler:innen aus unterschiedlichen Universitäten werden eingeladen, um ihre aktuelle Forschung vorzustellen.
Auch im HS 26 finden 6 Gastvorträge in Zürich und Bern statt. Interessierte sind herzlich eingeladen. Der Eintritt ist frei.

This conference, organised on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Russian Analytical Digest (RAD), brings together leading experts to discuss where Russia is heading. It examines key developments in Russian foreign and domestic policy, the economy, and society, with particular attention to the impact of the war against Ukraine and the forces shaping Russia’s future.

Eastern, Central, and Southeast Europe offer a critical vantage point for understanding the complexities of migration, one of the defining forces of our time. Labor migration in and from this region has shaped economies, social structures, and political debates across Europe and beyond. Yet these movements are often overlooked or oversimplified in public discourse.
This lecture series explores labor migration in and from Eastern Europe, broadly conceived, from a wide range of disciplinary and geographic perspectives.
